What to Know
What People Say
“I’m in a position where I have a lot of high volume clients. People all the time. And I’m always telling them about my diet and what I’m learning and the new things I’m trying and where I’m going, and I’m going to Thrive.”
I love that they have a food glossary on the back of their menu, partly because I would like to make a tub of Thrive guacamole to eat at home, and partly because it shows how truly creative they have gotten within their very restrictive parameters.
My coconutty was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. So good that I sort of didn’t know what to do with myself. The sort of good that makes you want to hug people within a 3-foot radius of your enlightened being. Had I not been feeling particularly lazy after pulling a 4AM’er the night before, I very well may have tackled present friend in a bear hug.
I went to Thrive the other night to grab something quick and ended up with a reen one called Nourish. Described on the menu as “the Perfect Green Machine, designed for one purpose: to provide your body temple with a powerful dose of micro-magic and cellular,” how could I resist?! ;) The smoothie was great, but I actually really liked the place for its service. The guy who took my order was really friendly and helpful, and the girl who served me my smoothie was attentive as well. Even though a lot of what they say is repeated throughout the day, it felt like their comments to me were sincere, despite the late hour. I really appreciated it and felt like they did a good job.
